Words of Wisdom
WIM is proud to announce our speakers
theme for this year—WOW, (AKA), Words of Wisdom. Throughout the year our
speakers will be addressing current issues for women in management. A
variety of speakers have been lined up to provide you with the most
up-to-date information on current issues such as, current issues facing
women in the media, effective use of social networking tools, and
separating myth from facts in women healthcare issues.
Our September speaker will be Dianne
Wildman, Emmy award-winning TV commentator currently with News 12
Connecticut. The meeting will be held on September 26, 2007 at
Giovanni’s Water’s Edge 2748 Boston Post Rd Darien, CT from 5:30 – 8:30
pm.
In upcoming months, WIMs program year
continues with:
- October: Kelley Connors will provide
an up-to-date presentation on the issues surrounding healthcare for
women—distinguishing between fact and fiction.
- November: Valerie Luther will
present current trends in “social networking” showing us how to use
internet networking tools to increase job searches or communicate
within organizations.
- January 2008:Catherine Conant will
weave a story of powerful words for women in management.
- Additional speakers will be
announced in the upcoming months.

This year’s meetings will again be
held at Giovanni’s Water’s Edge 2748 Boston Post Rd Darien, CT from 5:30
– 8:30 pm.. Meetings begin at 5:30 PM with a networking session for
attendees, followed by dinner and the speaker. Our theme for this year
is WOW—Words of Wisdom.
