Guest Speaker on the Risks and Rewards of Changing Careers
April Program for Women In Management
Cheryl Palmer, former President of The
Food Emporium and Vice President of The Gap’s Northeast Region will be
guest speaker on Wednesday, April 19th at the Women In Management
program, which will be held at The Fore Seasons Restaurant, in Stamford
from 5:30-8:30 PM. Ms. Palmer will share her personal insights and
experiences while in and out of transition. She will also share her
thoughts on the risks and rewards a seasoned professional faces when
pursuing changes in career, industry or both. Networking will begin at
5:30. All are welcome to attend this program event. The program fee is
$45 for WIM Members and $60 for Non-members. Space is limited.

Ms. Palmer is a senior general manager with experience in both the
retailing and consumer products industries. She is an active advocate of
entrepreneurship in women and has held a position on the Board of
Directors for the Women’s Business Development Center in Fairfield
County, Connecticut. She currently serves on the board of the Girl Scout
Council of Southwestern CT and is a member of the CT chapter of the
International Women’s Forum
