Linda
Kuppersmith was elected WIM President in 2005 after being an active
member since 1997. Having served on the Communication Committee,
Membership and then as President of WIM Scholorship Inc., Linda is well
qualified to Lead Women In Management in continuing to grow to meet the
needs to today’s professional women.
Linda Kuppersmith is the Owner and Managing Director of CMIT Solutions
of Stamford. CMIT helps small business owners grow in an easy and
affordable way by leveraging computers and technology. CMIT Solutions is
a national organization with 100+ offices in over 32 states. Linda
started her office of CMIT in 2005 having worked prior to that for over
20 years managing the technology departments for large Fortune 500
companies such as Prudential and Oxford Health and small start-ups such
as i3 Mobile and Sage Insurance. Her leadership and ability to bring
business value has been a mainstay in her career.
Additionally, Linda is also the President of BNI-Thrive, a sales and
marketing referral group based in Greenwich, CT Linda is a past member
of SIM, Society for Information Management a national elite CIO group
and EWN Entrepreneurs Women’s Network. Linda is active with the Stamford
Chamber of Commerce. Linda has been a resident of Stamford for 15 years,
having moved here after living in Queens, New York. Linda is a graduate
from Hofstra University and holds a BS in Computer Science with a minor
in General Business Administration. Linda is also a graduate of SIM’s
Regional Leadership Forum, a 9 month Leadership Development program, and
the recipient of CMIT Solutions 2006 Mach 2 & 2007 Peak Performance
awards. She is actively building a strong owner network in the Northeast
for CMIT.
